Auto Electrical Technician Apprenticeships

Become a specialist in the installation, diagnosis and repair of faults in the electrical and electronic components of all types of heavy vehicles. You will gain the skills and experience for lighting, starting, charging and ignition systems, the integration of CECU, ECM and ECU control systems along with multiplexing functions. Our fully-trained Auto Electrical Technicians are competent to complete all electrical repairs on any vehicle makes and models.

Bayswater Truck Centre

Bayswater Truck Centre is the only Kenworth & DAF dealer in the home and headquarters of Kenworth DAF Australia. Not only are we located near the factory, but you will gain firsthand experience working closely with PACCAR's research and development team to resolve issues, as well as providing assistance with new truck build ups and repairs as required. Our team enjoys regular staff lunches, a broad range of work and both internal and factory training.

Hallam Truck Centre

At Hallam Truck Centre's 3.2 hectare site, we are well placed to service Melbourne's second largest transport hub; Melbourne's south-east. In addition to your auto electrical or diesel technician apprenticeship, you will have the opportunity to learn forklifts and elevating work platforms (EWP) to gain your license. With such a broad range of work scheduled through our workshop, not one day is the same. Plus, you will enjoy easy access to public transport making travel easy, as well as regular team lunches and both internal and factory training.

Melbourne North Truck Centre

An apprenticeship with Melbourne North Truck Centre means we are preparing you for a long-term career within the automotive industry. You'll receive extensive factory training throughout your apprenticeship with industry-leading professionals, work on large powerful engines, as well as learn how to diagnose, overhaul, repair, inspect and test a wide range of trucks and buses. You will be exposed to Melbourne North Truck Centre's modern workshop equipped with state-of-the-art diagnostic tools.
